Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Tap2Apply web app at tap2apply.app or the Tap2Apply browser extension. By using either one, you agree to them. How we handle your data is covered in the privacy policy.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Give us accurate information, especially in anything we help you send to employers.

Your content

Your résumé, applications, files and notes stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run Tap2Apply for you, including sending them to our AI provider when you use AI features.

AI and autofill

  • AI-generated content (parsed job details, tailored résumés, cover letters, suggested answers) can be wrong or incomplete. Check it before you use it.
  • Autofill fills in forms but never submits them. You review every application and submit it yourself, so what you send is your responsibility.
  • Tap2Apply doesn't guarantee interviews, offers or any other result.

Fair use

  • Don't use Tap2Apply to send false information or to apply as someone else.
  • Don't use it to spam employers, scrape sites in bulk, or break a job site's own terms.
  • Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or to get into other people's data.

The service

Tap2Apply is provided as is. We're working to keep it running and useful, but features may change, break or go away. Keep your own copies of anything important. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Tap2Apply, such as a missed application or a form filled in wrong.

Ending things

You can stop using Tap2Apply at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top. If you keep using Tap2Apply after a change, you accept the new terms.
